The Wild Water Group are aware of our obligations under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and we are committed to processing your personal data securely and transparently.
This privacy notice describes how we collect and use personal information about you in accordance with the UK GDPR.
For the purposes of this policy, Wild Water Group means Alco Team Ltd, Wild Water Warehousing Ltd, Wild Water Frozen Ltd, Wild Water Storage Ltd, Wild Water Cold Storage Ltd and/or Wild Water Transport Ltd.

Data controller details
The Wild Water Group is a data controller, meaning that it determines the processes to be used when using your personal data. We are required under the data protection legislation to notify you of the information contained in this privacy notice. This notice does not form part of any contract of employment or other contract for services. We may update this notice at any time but if we do so, we will provide you with an updated copy of this notice as soon as reasonably practical.
It is important that you read and retain this notice, together with any privacy notice we may provide for specific occasions when we are collecting data or processing personal information about you, so that you are aware of how and why we are using that information and what your rights are under the data protection legislation.
Data protection principles
In relation to your personal data, we will:

The kind of information we hold about you
Personal data, or personal information, means any information about an individual from which that person can be identified. It does not include data where the person's identity has been removed (anonymous data).
There are certain types of more sensitive personal data which require a higher level of protection, such as information about a person's health, sexual orientation or criminal convictions.
We will collect, store and use the following categories of personal information about you:

We may also collect, store, and use the following more sensitive types of personal information:

Information about your sexual orientation, religion, or belief, ethnic origin and political opinion;

Trade union membership (if applicable); and/or

details of your criminal record (criminal convictions and offences).
How we will collect your data
Subject to the below, we do not collect any personal data from you. We do not place cookies on your computer or device, nor do we use any other means of data collection.
Our Site collects certain information automatically, including your IP address, the type of browser you are using, and certain other non-personal data about your computer or device such as your operating system type or version, and display resolution.
If you send us an email, we may collect your name, your email address, and any other information which you choose to give us. For the purposes of the Data Protection Legislation, We are the data controller responsible for such personal data.
The lawful basis under the Data Protection Legislation that allows us to use such information is article 6(1)(f) of the UK GDPR which allows us to process personal data when it is necessary for the purposes of our legitimate interests, in this case, the proper operation and functionality of Our Site. If you contact us as described above, you will be required to consent to our use of your personal data to contact you. In this case, our lawful basis for using your personal data will be article 6(1)(a) of the UK GDPR, which allows us to use your personal data with your consent for a particular purpose or purposes.
How we will use information about you
Where we collect any personal data, it will be processed and stored securely, for no longer than is necessary in light of the reason(s) for which it was first collected. We will comply with our obligations and safeguard your rights under the Data Protection Legislation at all times. For more details on security see Part 7, below.
As stated above, we do not generally collect any personal data directly from you, but if you contact us and we obtain your personal details from your email, we may use them to respond to your email. The other technical data referred to above is necessary for the technical operation of Our Site and will not normally be used in any way to personally identify you.
We will not share any of your personal data with any third parties for any purposes other than storage on an email and/or web hosting server.
How and Where Do You Store My Data?
​We will only store your personal data in the UK. This means that it will be fully protected under the Data Protection Legislation.

Sharing your data
We will not share any of your personal data with any third parties for any purposes, subject to the following exceptions.
In some limited circumstances, we may be legally required to share certain personal data, which might include yours, if we are involved in legal proceedings or complying with legal obligations, a court order, or the instructions of a government authority.
If we sell, transfer, or merge parts of our business or assets, your personal data may be transferred to a third party. Any new owner of our business may continue to use your personal data in the same way(s) that we have used it, as specified in this Privacy Policy (i.e. to communicate with you).
In some limited circumstances, we may be legally required to share certain personal data, which might include yours, if we are involved in legal proceedings or complying with legal obligations, a court order, or the instructions of a government authority.
Protecting your data
We are aware of the requirement to ensure your data is protected against accidental loss or disclosure, destruction and abuse. We have implemented processes to guard against such.
Where we share your data with third parties, we provide written instructions to them to ensure that your data are held securely and in line with GDPR requirements. Third parties must implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure the security of your data. . They will only process your personal information on our instructions, and they are subject to a duty of confidentiality.
We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal information from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorised way, altered or disclosed. Additionally, we limit access to your personal information to those employees, agents, contractors and other third parties who have a business need to know
We have put in place procedures to deal with any suspected data security breach and will notify you and any applicable regulator of a suspected breach where we are legally required to do so.
How long we keep your data for
In line with data protection principles, we only retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose that we collected it for.

To determine the appropriate retention period for personal data, we consider:

The potential risk of harm from unauthorised use or disclosure of your personal data.

The purposes for which we process your personal data and whether we can achieve those purposes through other means.

In some circumstances, we may anonymise your personal information so that it can no longer be associated with you, in which case we may use that information without further notice to you.
Automated decision making
Automated decision-making takes place when an electronic system uses personal information to make a decision without human intervention. We are allowed to use automated decision-making in the following circumstances:

Where we have notified you of the decision and given you one month to request a reconsideration.

Where it is necessary to perform the contract with you and appropriate measures are in place to safeguard your rights.

In limited circumstances, with your explicit written consent and where appropriate measures are in place to safeguard your rights.

If we make an automated decision on the basis of any particularly sensitive personal information, we must have either your explicit written consent or it must be justified in the public interest, and we must also put in place appropriate measures to safeguard your rights.
No decision will be made about you solely on the basis of automated decision making (where a decision is taken about you using an electronic system without human involvement) which has a significant impact on you.
Your rights in relation to your access, correction, erasure and restriction of your personal data
Your duty to inform us of changes
It is important that the personal information we hold about you is accurate and current. Please keep us informed if your personal information changes during your working relationship with us.
Your rights in connection with personal information
Under certain circumstances, by law you have the right to:

Request access to your personal information (commonly known as a data subject access request). This enables you to receive a copy of the personal information we hold about you and to check that we are lawfully processing it.

Request correction of the personal information that we hold about you. This enables you to have any incomplete or inaccurate information we hold about you corrected.

You also have the right to object where we are processing your personal information for direct marketing purposes.

If you want to review, verify, correct, or request erasure of your personal information, object to the processing of your personal data, or request that we transfer a copy of your personal information to another party, please contact the DPO in writing.
No fee usually required.
You will not have to pay a fee to access your personal information (or to exercise any of the other rights). However, we may charge a reasonable fee if your request for access is clearly unfounded or excessive. Alternatively, we may refuse to comply with the request in these circumstances.
What we may need from you
We may need to request specific information from you to help us confirm your identity and ensure your right to access the information (or to exercise any of your other rights). This is another appropriate security measure to ensure that personal information is not disclosed to any person who has no right to receive it.
Right to withdraw consent
In the limited circumstances where you may have provided your consent to the collection, processing and transfer of your personal information for a specific purpose, you have the right to withdraw your consent for that specific processing at any time. To withdraw your consent, please contact the DPO. Once we have received notification that you have withdrawn your consent, we will no longer process your information for the purpose or purposes you originally agreed to, unless we have another legitimate basis for doing so in law.

Making a complaint
The supervisory authority in the UK for data protection matters is the Information Commissioner (ICO). If you think your data protection rights have been breached in any way by us, you are able to make a complaint to the ICO.
Changes to this privacy notice
We reserve the right to update this privacy notice at any time, and we will provide you with a new privacy notice when we make any substantial updates. We may also notify you in other ways from time to time about the processing of your personal information.
